BRIEF HISTORY OF DILLARD, GA
In 1974, John Dillard is awarded a land grant for his service in the American Revolution. Today, Dillard, Ga encompasses the land in the valley. Many prominent families inhabit the area, but in 1890 the Postal Service chooses Dillard as the towns official name.
